Drug Free Mifa

Several operators handed over filled urine bottles to the drug examiner team for examination. It can be seen on their faces that they are curious about the examination being carried out and maybe they are afraid.
That is an activity carried out on the website, Drug Raids. This screening is carried out for every worker who is active in the Mifa operational area and is specifically for high-risk workers such as heavy equipment operators. Inspections are carried out randomly and suddenly. His name is also a raid, which must be confidential without prior notification. Drugs and illegal drugs have different times to survive in the body, here are examples:

Amphetamine will last 1-3 days in urine and 12 hours in blood
Benzodiazepines will last 3-6 weeks in urine and 2-3 days in blood
Marijuana will survive 7-30 days in urine and 5 days-2 weeks in blood
Methafetamine will last 3-6 days in urine and 2-3 days in blood
Morphine will last 2-3 days in urine and 6-8 hours in blood
Alcohol will last 3-5 days in urine and 10-12 hours in blood
Cocaine will last 3-4 days in urine and 1-2 days in blood
Ecstasy will last 3-4 days in urine and 1-2 days in blood
This activity will be carried out regularly every 6 months every year. The types of drugs examined were morphine, marijuana (marijuana), amphetamine (methamphetamine), methamphetamine and benzodiazepines.

Effects of Drug Use

The use of drugs and illegal drugs has a bad effect on the body’s organs and mental-emotional conditions. In addition, the effects of addiction (addiction) that will be experienced by drug users make concentration decrease. The mining area is a work environment that has high hazards and risks. For this reason, good concentration is needed in activities and decision making to avoid accidents while working.
KAIT Circular to all Heads of Mining Engineering and Operational Person in Charge (PJO) No. 146/37.04/DBT/2017, dated 16 January 2017 underlies this raid program. Circular containing the prevention and eradication of narcotics and illegal drugs and Permenakertrans No. Per. 11/Men/VI/2005 concerning the prevention and control of the abuse and illicit traffic of narcotics, psychotropics and other additives in the workplace.
During this raid, 18 operators and security officers were examined for drugs. There were no employees using drugs during the inspection. And it is hoped that workers in Mifa’s operational areas will never be found consuming drugs and illegal drugs. Hopefully Mifa will be free from drugs.
