The stunning handbags featured in the video were provided by Cicely Hansen, the owner of Decades of Fashion San Francisco, and the clip begins in 1916 with a crochet evening bag from the Edwardian era.

The elegant bag features a steel clasp and chain, and while it is small, it is able to hold a hand fan, a handkerchief, a compact mirror, a small comb, and a tin match holder.

To match with the decadence of the flapper era, these Art Deco bags featured ornate frames that were made of nickel, sterling silver, or even gold.
